I am holding a policy from this company paid up in the early 70's and i cant
locate them. they were originally located in chattanooga, tennessee! any

Call your state's Insurance Commissioner's Office as ask. They'll surely be
able to help you find and contact them.

It only took three hours to find it but for anyone else who needs this
information...

interstate life & accident insurance company was bought by gulf life of
jacksonville florida. Gulf life was bought by american general of nashville
tennessee. they now are the underwriters so if you need to collect their
number is (800) 888-2452.
