These were installed as a mod in a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, front amber turn signal/parking light bulbs. The installation was easy; however, keep in mind that you'll need to also install a set of load equalizers (resistors) to prevent hyper flashing - I used a 6ohm set and they worked fine with no EVIC bulb out messages. Regarding the fit into the existing bulb housings, there were no issues. So, as long as you have the necessary tools & knowledge to splice/solder wires, this is a relatively easy mod. I only gave 3 stars for quality as I haven't had these long enough to make an accurate assessment in this area.
